Delete Your Matcheo Account

Option 1 — Inside the App (Fastest)

1. Open Matcheo and sign in.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account."
4. Confirm.

Your account and all associated data are removed the same day.

Option 2 — By Email (No App Required)

If you can't access the app, email support@matcheo.iofrom the email address registered to your account with the subject line "Delete my account." Include your username if you remember it.

We will:

1. Confirm receipt within 24 hours.
2. Verify the request is coming from the account owner.
3. Delete your account and all associated data within 72 hours of verification.

What Gets Deleted

The following data is permanently deleted:

• Your profile (email, username, avatar, sports, city, skill level, language preference)
• Your match history (matches created, joined, left, scores submitted, scores confirmed or disputed)
• Your gamification data (XP, points, wins, rank, hot streak)
• Your friendships and friend requests
• Your push notification token

What May Be Retained

For legal and abuse-prevention reasons, the following may be retained in anonymized form for up to 12 months:

• Aggregate match counts (with no link to your identity)
• Records of any abuse reports filed by or against you, anonymized

No Recovery

Account deletion is permanent. Deleted accounts cannot be restored. If you want to use Matcheo again later, you'll need to create a new account.
