Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Matcheo mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Matcheo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Matcheo is a premium social sports network designed for Padel and Football enthusiasts. The Service allows users to discover and connect with other players, organize matches, book courts and pitches through third-party venue partners, track performance statistics, and participate in community features. Matcheo acts as a platform connecting users and does not itself own, operate, or manage any sports venues or facilities.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. Matcheo reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at its sole discretion.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service in a manner that is lawful, respectful, and consistent with these Terms. You shall not:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts; harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users; impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable; interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or to the Service's systems; use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without express written permission; or engage in unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to repeated no-shows for booked matches without reasonable notice.

5. Bookings and Payments

Matcheo may facilitate court and pitch bookings through third-party venue partners. When you make a booking through the Service, you enter into a direct agreement with the venue. Matcheo is not a party to this agreement and assumes no liability for the venue's services, availability, condition, or pricing. Cancellation and refund policies are determined by each venue and will be displayed at the time of booking. Matcheo may charge service fees for facilitating bookings, which will be clearly disclosed before you confirm payment. All payments are processed through third-party payment processors and are subject to their terms and conditions.

6. Booking Liability

Matcheo serves as a platform to connect users with sports venues and other players. Matcheo does not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or suitability of any venue, court, pitch, or match. You acknowledge that participation in sports activities carries inherent risks of injury, and you assume all responsibility for assessing and accepting those risks. Matcheo shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or disputes arising from bookings made through the Service or from participation in any matches or activities organized through the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Matcheo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without express written consent from Matcheo. User-generated content remains the property of the respective user, but by posting content on the Service, you grant Matcheo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

8. Account Termination

Matcheo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to: violation of these Terms; conduct that is harmful, threatening, or disruptive to other users or the Service; repeated no-shows for booked matches; fraudulent or illegal activity; or any behavior that Matcheo deems, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate or detrimental to the community. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request deletion of your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Matcheo does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Matcheo does not endorse or guarantee any user, venue, or content on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Matcheo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability. Matcheo's total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Matcheo in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Matcheo is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
